We have 10 Chickens up the yard. Which I let out for a wander in the morning's. Mave was texting me one morning and couldn't work out why I wasn't replying. (She knew I was up the yard). Eventually I replied and told her that the little sods were playing me up and I had been chasing them around the field trying to get them into their pen. This highly amused her and she told me that she nearly fell off the bed laughing so much. ( I didn't!!! The air was very blue).
Then it turned frosty and cold. Mave would ask how the chicken's were.. Well I told her that they were nearly ready for the freezer. She was horrified. What I meant was that they could've walked straight into the freezer because they were cold. She then went into overdrive.. She replied that she was going to knit them Hats and Scarfs. She thought about baby grows but we decided that they might be to big plus she wanted bright colours.
